Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife (Chairman)

Ooni Adeyeye is a holder of Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Polytechnic Ibadan, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Institute of Management and an Associate Accounting Technician.

The Spiritual Head of all the Yoruba race worldwide with exceptional savvy business ideas delved into Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) locally and abroad for over 12 years. He is also actively involved in the development of over 2,500 housing units with various consortia of developers within the last 10 years. In Nigeria, He set up and fostered strong trade relationships through the Association for International Business (AIB) with presence in over 200 member countries across the globe.

He developed one of the best resorts in Nigeria, leading a team that opened up a remote jungle called Inagbe Island in Amuwo Odofin LGA, Lagos. He is also set to open the biggest resort in the whole of the SouthWestern Region of Nigeria, in Ile Ife, called Ife Grand Resort. His vision and creativity transformed Inagbe island into a whole new community offering spectacular world class relaxation and recreational facilities. The multi-billion naira Inagbe Grand Resorts and Leisure, Lagos Nigeria is the first of its kind in the whole of West Africa bounded by the Lagos Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. It was launched in December 13, 2013.

Ambassador Ayo George - President, African Icon Awards

Ayo George is the CEO of In-House Entertainment Limited and the President of African Icon Awards. His work experience spans across the oil and gas sector, the media, and marketing communications. He is the CEO of Royal Love International, a consulting firm that offers human capital resource services. He is a global Peace Ambassador at the Universal Peace Federation, which is in consultative status with the United Nations. He has authored various books on National Development and eminent personalities. 

He is an education consultant to the African Refugees Foundation. He holds various professional certifications in Entrepreneurship, Public Administration and Information Technology. He holds a bachelors degree in Social Psychology and has held managerial positions across the aforementioned sectors of the country.

MorounRanti Ashabi Alebiosu (Vice Chairman)

MorounRanti Ashabi Alebiosu is an inspirational individual with over 14 years experience in the marketing communications industry.   

What she brings to any organisation is captured in her favourite strapline: Building Teams, Motivating Excellence and Achieving Results. She is a relationship driven sales and marketing professional who encourages and inspires her team to deliver bottom line results.  

MorounRanti is a progressive business driver who while at Insight Communications played a major role in the awareness campaign and launch of the One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) note into the Nigerian economy, she was instrumental in the launching of the Heineken 60cl into the Nigerian Market as well as the re – launch of the Amstel Malta brand. Due to her exemplary dedication to work, MorounRanti was recommended for and awarded double promotion at work, a first in the company’s history.  

She served as the director of communications in the pre – election campaign of His Excellency Mr. Babatunde Fashola in year 2006 where she co – ordinated the expression and use of marketing communication concepts to reach the target audience. In the course of this assignment, she came up with the  strap line “Eko o ni baje”  

Between 2011 and 2014, she served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Tourism and Inter – Governmental Relations. 

Dayo Israel - Member, Board of Governing Council

Dayo Israel was named one of the 100 Most Influential People of African Descent (under 40) as part of the 2017 celebration of the UN Decade for people of Africa Descent at the One UN Plaza in New York. A Henley Business School Young Leader, Dayo has twice been named in 2016 and 2017 as one of 50 UK’s brightest young leaders. He was recognised as one of the top 25 Promising Nigerian Youths under 35 To Serve Nigeria in 2016 and as one of Africa’s top 30 most inspirational young people of 2013. Dayo is a member of the British Council Global Change makers Network and Alumnus of the US State Department International Visitors Leadership Program that has produced over 400 Heads of Government globally.

As one of the strong voices behind the #Nottooyoungtorun Campaign in Africa, Dayo actively promotes Youth Participation in Political Leadership; inspiring, challenging, training and fundraising for Young Africans interested in running for Public Offices across Africa.

He is renowned for his works with The United Nations, British Council, Save the Children UK, UNICEF, in various capacities, promoting the implementation and actualization of the UN Millennium and Sustainable Development Goals; currently serving as a YTI Special Representative to the United Nations, Africa Regional Director for GLEEHD Foundation and Director of Africa Operations at the Commonwealth Africa Initia

Kayode Makinde - Member, Board of Governing Council

Kayode Makinde has a Masters degree in Managerial Psychology and another Masters in Business Administration Administration. He's got Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Babcock University, Nigeria.

Kayode has over a decade experience in banking spanning across   5 different Banks in Nigeria.

Kayode as a Branch Manager started from a zero deposit balance position, and grew the Branch deposit base from N0million – N875million within six months of operation. He also grew the Branch deposit base from N875m – N1.55billion by the end of the first year. A growth that saw account acquisition from zero to 3,102 accounts in the first year of operation and doubled the account acquisition from 3,102 to 6,239 in the second year of operation.

Makinde is a passionate goal getter and also an Associate of the Institute of Financial Analysts, Nigeria
